Ultimately, no one knows what the year will bring. I know of a few things in my future to be hopeful for, however this is going to be a very critical year for the rest of my life. It is a year that is going to be filled with life-changes and challenges, and I am so excited to arrive at all my destinations a stronger person. I am hopeful for this new year, and for my new future!

Predictions on 2009
I think that after this last year I have learned many lessons on life, love, and finances. I feel like the vast amount of lessons I have learned is going to make me a better person, and will allow me to make better decisions within this new year. I feel that my life with Jake will grow immensely this year. I have learned a lot about friendships last year, and I will take those lessons I have learned to make the few great friendships that I have, grow even stronger. I am going to begin the journey of the rest of my life after a semester of student teaching, and receiving my diploma in December.

I'm so glad that you have taken some wonderful lessons away from the difficult times in your life. It reminds me that when God closes one door, another opens and although we may not always understand why bad things continue to happen. I spent 5 years frustrated that nothing was going right to having my entire life turn around in a week's time. So, keep plugging along. One day you'll look back and not even remember how hard that time was. I hope for only the best for you this new year!
